(搬运)两种超好吃的Biscuits - 来自popeye与red lobster的做法步骤图

截至目前为止,popeye和red lobster两家店的biscuit是我吃过最最最好吃的,超级喜欢。所以搜了它们的菜谱搬运过来,作为记录。目前先直接复制英文,改天有时间再弄成中文(会保留英文,可能会以图片形式)。每个步骤是一种biscuit的一个我看到的菜谱,在该步骤最后附有链接。
Updated:下厨房提示每个步骤不能超过1000字...所以我把每个菜谱的配方和步骤分开两步放。

popeye是一家炸鸡店,red lobster是一家美食海鲜餐厅。都是连锁的。

  1. popeye的(来自cookpad网友Makajo10):

    Popeye's Buttermilk Biscuits (copy cat recipe)

    Ingredients (10 servings):
    2 cup  All purpose flour (I used unbleached)
    1 tbsp Sugar
    1 1/2 tsp Salt
    1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
    1/2 tsp Baking soda
    1/2 cup Unsalted butter, cold
    1/2 cup Buttermilk
    1/4 cup Milk
    1 Butter, to brush on top

  2. Steps (30 mins)[popeye]
    1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
    2. Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a medium bowl.
    3. Slice cold butter into cubes and use a pastry knife or potato masher to cut butter into dry mixture until no large chunks of butter remain.
    4. Add buttermilk and milk and stir with a spoon until dough forms.
    5. Roll out to 1/2-inch thick on a floured surface.
    6. Cut biscuits with a 3-inch biscuit cutter and arrange on a lightly greased or parchment paper lined baking sheet.
    7. Bake for 22 to 24 minutes or until tops begin to turn light brown.
    8. Remove biscuits from the oven and cool for a couple of minutes, then brush each biscuit top with melted butter.

  3. Red lobster的(来自allrecipes):

    Red Lobster® Cheddar Biscuits (25min, 6 servings)

    Ingredients:
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    2/3 cup milk
    1/3 cup butter
    1 large egg
    2 tablespoons melted butter

  4. Steps (red lobster):
    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Butter a baking sheet.
    2. Combine flour, Cheddar cheese, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl.
    3. Combine milk, 1/3 cup butter, and egg in a separate bowl. Mix into the flour mixture until chunky; be careful not to over-mix the batter.
    4. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet.
    5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Brush melted butter on top and continue baking until golden brown, about 5 minutes more.

    Cook's Note:
    You can add about 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and/or 2 teaspoons dried parsley to the melted butter to then brush on top of the biscuits.
